It measures your readiness for nursing school by testing core HESI A2 academic skills across subjects including Anatomy & Physiology, Mathematics, Reading Comprehension, Grammar, and Vocabulary.
HESI A2 does not have one universal passing score. Each school sets its own section requirements and admission thresholds, so check your target program before you sit the exam. If you are planning another attempt, also check the HESI A2 retake policy required by your school.
